    Michael Graber

    Michael is Managing Partner and Executive Concept Director of Southern Growth Studio and has more than fifteen years of experience leading marketing and innovation efforts. He previously founded Johnson|Graber, a successful interactive marketing firm that was acquired by the Memphis firm, Lokion, in 2004. On the client side, Michael served as the Director of Marketing at FNC, Inc. He has consistently produced award-winning, results-earning work for clients such as Fine Living, Viking Range, FedEx, International Paper, the Memphis Grizzlies, and many others. Michael speaks and publishes frequently on best practices in marketing, business strategy, and innovation.

    Jocelyn Atkinson

    Jocelyn is Co-founder and Chief Strategist of Southern Growth Studio. As the Manager of Innovation at FNC, Jocelyn helped lead the company into a new era of growth, turning complex product concepts into a matrix of marketable and profitable products noted for their distinctive branding and ease of use. Through her work in Strategic Planning at Turner Broadcasting, Jocelyn evaluated new technologies and market opportunities for the Time Warner family of companies. At the Southern Growth Studio, Jocelyn leads the insight-generating process for clients, the account management team, and Studio operations.

    Deep Experience

    Studio members earned their stripes working on accounts and projects for Fortune 500 and 1000 companies (including Viking Range, FedEx, Turner Broadcasting, First Tennessee/First Horizon, International Paper, and others), industrial and financial service companies (H+M Construction, MCDR, Loeb Properties, Morgan Keegan, Eagle Capital, Financial Scorecard, Compass Financial, etc.), many non-profits (including the Smithsonian Archives, Memphis in May, the Memphis-Shelby County Humane Society, and more), software and Web companies (iXL, FNC, Inc., Accuship, etc.), educational institutions (including Rhodes College, Lausanne School, University of Memphis, Ole Miss, and Mississippi State), and many other organizations.

    Awards

    Awards include several 40 Under 40 designations, a Flash Site of the Day award, induction into the Usability Hall of Fame, a National ADDY, Regional ADDYs, Webbies, and more.

    Thought Leadership

    Recent publication credits include an article about innovation in NWA’s World Traveler magazine, an article about marketing in the social media landscape in Interactions magazine, and a monthly column for a statewide business newspaper. Recent speaking engagements include the FedEx Institute of Technology at the University of Memphis, the Ad Club of Ole Miss, the Public Relations Association of Mississippi, and the Rotary Club.
