Southern Growth began with a Big Dig: a comprehensive study of Eagle’s business, its relationships with employees and clients, its position in the market, the size of the market, and an analysis of competitors.
The Big Dig unearthed Eagle’s Golden Thread, the core values that tie its brand together: integrity, honesty, service. The Studio launched a brand overhaul, updating Eagle’s image and voice—the logo, Web site, tagline, direct mail process flow, even each individual letter. Eagle President Joe Estess often advised clients about their business, so the Studio produced a podcast series to showcase Estess’s industry experience and honest financial know-how. The team also helped Eagle launch a free online service that helps truckers calculate their true costs—then steers them to Eagle for help if they don’t like their numbers.
With the new focus, Eagle stands out from the competition and attracts ideal clients. In the midst of an economic downturn, Eagle stands strong while many other factoring companies have failed. Celebrating their new focus, Eagle took steps on its own to automate and streamline the workflow for its customer service reps, increasing their efficiency.
